A PIMP COSTUME ONLY APPEARS RACIST TO RACISTS

I have to say, I admire Andrew Breitbart a great deal. He is a gracious guy who works diligently to destroy the left-wing MSM. But in the process of making some extremely valid points in the halls of the conference, at one point Breitbart got flustered and did not answer a question, though I’m sure he’d contend he answered it quite adequately. Watch the video until the end, then click back over here to the Report for the following…

First, if you want more background on where this irrational belief that James O’keefe is a racist came from, read John Nolte’s blog published today on BigGovernment.com.

Second, I think Andrew Breitbart’s criticism of the affect liberal policy has had on urban black communities holds a lot of water. Those affirmative action policies have held urban blacks back in modern society, making it hard to catch people who have a head start over them. However, that was not a direct answer to the question being posed, and I wish Breitbart would have made it more clear why James O’keefe dressing up as a pimp in the ACORN videos does not have racial undertones.

The reason there are no racial undertones is because only race-baiters like Tommy Christopher automatically and directly associate pimps with black urban culture. Now THAT’S racism. Come on man, whites, asians, and latinos are allowed to be pimps too! The purpose of the ACORN videos was to expose the corruption that is a government-sponsored organization aiding and abetting illegal activity. Hannah Giles’ brainchild wasn’t conceived on the premise that ACORN only helps blacks and that they should dress as a pimp and a prostitute to prove it. Her premise was that ACORN helps criminals, which is exactly what and her and James O’keefe exposed.

The fact that a liberal activist group such as ACORN is actually holding back the black minority in this country through affirmative action policies that could only be conceived in the minds of those with underlying bigotry and paternalistic impulses is the real racism, not James’ project to expose it. That is ultimately where Breitbart ended up, but he should have made the above connection more clear. You should have seen Breitbart, the guy was on the warpath all weekend. He can’t be expected to be on his game 24/7.

LIBERAL HIT-JOBS ARE NOT THE BEST WAY INSPIRE PEOPLE TO GIVE MORE IMPROMPTU INTERVIEWS

In related CPAC news, Tommy Christopher used ambush tactics on James O’keefe, Hannah Giles and Andrew Breitbart in order to foster an impromptu interview with James, an interview that would have inevitably lead to the type of malicious and dishonest misquotes to which the ACORN-wreckers have become accustomed. Just look at another misquote from CPAC the Huffington Post published to attack Hannah Giles.

Really? Even those who contend the ACORN videos had audio dubbed over what the ACORN staffers were actually saying (BS, by the way) can’t deny that Hannah Giles and James O’keefe actually went in to ACORN offices dressed as a pimp and a prostitute. I don’t care how tech-savvy Avatar was, technology isn’t good enough to superimpose pimp and prostitute outfits on people in 10-minute digital videos. That shows just how ludicrous of a misquote Hannah’s statement to the Huffington Post was.

But back to James’ interview refusal: One of the reasons James O’keefe did not grant interviews as he said he would was not because Tommy Christopher was going to ask “real” questions, but because Tommy Christopher proved he wasn’t a real journalist worthy of asking questions. There were so many liberal bloggers running around the halls of CPAC eavesdropping on conversations on the hope of overhearing “gotcha moments” that it appeared futile to grant extemporaneous interviews to every blogging bozo who approached James. He’s granted plenty of interviews to legitimate news sources. Burn me once, shame on you. Burn me twice, shame on me. The guy didn’t want to be misquoted and labeled racist again, get off his back.

CPAC CROWD GETS MAD PROPS FOR BOOING GAY-BASHING RYAN SORBA

There are plenty of valid arguments on both side of the gay marriage debate and other homosexual hot-topics. However, this is not one of them. A little baground: Ryan Sorba made these comments in protest to the presence of GOProud at CPAC. GOProud is a group representing gay conservatives. Watch that minute and a half video and then come back to the next paragraph.

First of all, natural rights are not grounded in human nature. Natural rights are grounded in the belief that when God created humans, he gave them certain rights that one’s fellow man should not be allowed to alienate. Natural rights philosophy was in fact a reaction to human nature, which for centuries had proved only to oppress people through governments ran by the elite. That is but one of many logical flaws in this dude’s argument.

Second, Ryan Sorba wasn’t even invited to talk about that. It certainly wasn’t the forum – he was supposed to talk about how his role in the San Bernardino ACORN video was misrepresented.

Do you know who Ryan Sorba is? I don’t either. That’s why I couldn’t care less what he has to say about GOProud being there. The only thing Ryan Sorba’s presence was relevant for was a discussion on ACRON and he didn’t even get to that because he was booed off stage. I don’t always agree with the tactics the gay community uses to advance their cause, but show some love for the gay conservatives, Ryan! Can we trade Sorba to the left for more conservative homosexuals?

OTHER FUN CPAC NEWS

– If you want to hear Andrew Breitbart’s speech to CPAC, click here.

– Ron Paul won the presidential straw poll at CPAC. The only thing worse than running Ron Paul on the GOP ticket in 2012 would be running Sarah Palin. As much as I love Sarah, she just isn’t a viable presidential candidate. Neither is Ron Paul.

– Here are more fun Breitbart videos from CPAC if you’re interested.

– Glenn Beck has taken a lot of heat for the speech he gave to close out CPAC. Here is Beck’s keynote address, decide for yourself. Both Rush Limbaugh and John Stewart weighed in from their respective sides of the isle. Yes Stewart, I dig Glen Beck’s chalk board. Get over it.
