How can I go wrong starting this entry with a quote from Ms. Coulter? While Joe is anchoring down the fort at the Eisenhower Building, at least we still have Barney Frank left in Congress to entertain us. Tuesday, Frank made an unsolicited attack on Justice Antonin Scalia by calling him a homophobe. Since Justice Scalia hasn’t even provided a sprinkling of bigoted remarks in his Supreme Court opinions, Harvard-law educated Barney Frank has reduced himself to name-calling.

California Western School of Law, along with law schools throughout the nation, conduct regular amelioration events “responding to the military’s discriminatory hiring practices.”  These events – such as holding town hall meetings and making anti-military t-shirts handed out for free with my tuition money – are held in protest of the military’s “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy and how it relates to the military’s recruiting practices at law schools – institutions that are at least in part funded by the federal government.  Such an amelioration event is taking place this week at California Western.
