Ned Lamont, the spectacularly ungrateful hedge fund billionaire-turned-socialist-turned political loser decided to jump back into his clown costume on the national stage yesterday, this time to man the barricades for that forgotten oppressed class, billionaires-turned-millionaires from the rapidly tanking hedge fund industry who live with neighbor Ned in Greenwich, Connecticut. According to Mr. Lamont, being worth a measly nine figures when you used to be worth ten constitutes Greenwich’s “Katrina, Japan meltdown, and Asian tsunami” – all in one! Which is why Comrade Ned is all for wealth redistribution in the form of a bailout to his friends, many of whom reportedly must wait a full year before the purchase of their next Rolls Royce.

“We encourage free speech and defend everyone’s right to express unpopular points of view…” This statement can be found on YouTube’s Community Guidlines page, and in general this statement holds true. Take, for example: the animalistic view of women that rappers promote amongst the youth of this nation, or the violent street fighting clips that develop fanbases. These videos are popular because they raise some level of controversy, and aren’t considered “socially” acceptable in America.

Late today, the House voted largely along party lines in a 236-189 vote to expand domestic offshore oil drilling. You heard me right, along party lines, approving the measure…in a Democratic majority House of Representatives. The Republicans did not support this pro-oil bill, so what’s not adding up here?
